Back in February, I had the chance to briefly meet Eugene Cho and sit in on his breakout session at the Idea Camp in Irvine. During the session, I was able to witness first hand Eugene’s passion for the gospel and for his community.
Eugene also revealed a new venture he and his wife Minhee are embarking on called One Day’s Wages (ODW). ODW is an international grassroots movement dedicated to ending extreme global poverty.

FACTS
- Nearly half the world lives on less than $2US per day
- Nearly 25,000 children die every day of poverty-related causes
- 1 billion people do not have access to clean water
Eugene and Minhee are driven by the belief that we have the capacity to end extreme global poverty. They have committed to donate their one year’s wages and have invited you and I to partner with them by donating one day’s wages.
- One Day’s Wages = 0.4% of one’s annual wages = dramatic impact for those living in extreme poverty
- 100% of all donations (minus transactions) go to projects and causes. All of it!
- YOU choose the project or organization you want to invest your money
The statistics are difficult to comprehend but imagine what we can accomplish together. I encourage you to check out the video below, head over to One Day’s Wages and thoughtfully consider donating. You can also find ODW on Facebook and Twitter.
